Sedona Horseback Trails & Adventures: Maps & Logs by Locals

Sedona offers breathtaking beauty that fills the senses and feeds the soul. Surrounded by spectacular red rock formations and soaring sandstone cliffs, people from all over the world experience the splendor of Sedona. I experience a great sense of harmony and serenity with creation as I ride my horse along Red Rock Country trails.

Our information will help you select trails based on your horse’s ability to deal with activity on the trail or rocky trail conditions.  I’ve been riding my horse on Sedona trails for many years and have experienced many different situations. My trail packages give you insight to riding the trails here. These conditions are what you may encounter on the Sedona trails and possibly may not have experienced on other trails.

We point out tips to recognize the trail as it passes across slick rock sections where obvious impression are not may not be noticeable.  Secondary trails are not maintained the same as primary trails, as primary trails are marked with cairns.  This can sometimes present a challenge to remain on the trail.  I’ll also point out which trails prohibit equine use and which trail head parking areas allow trailer parking.

Our information will point out trails that provide more shade for rides in warmer temperatures, special areas to stop for a snack and record a lasting memory photo/video of your great adventure. With these in-depth tips, you can ride stress-free in the Red Rocks of Sedona.
